Countdown to the New Flock
Well, 76 days until the girls arrive. I placed an order with McMurray Hatchery, and 25 female chicks should arrive on around May 11. I ordered three varieties:
The hatchery also sends one “bonus” chick – usually an exotic breed. I won’t be able to keep all 25, so I am lining up adoption requests now. I will be sending a few to Fairview to l live with my friend Carol.
