So this family gets a turkey, to raise for their next Thanksgiving dinner (we’ll sub in chicken since it’s a chicken blog, but it’s probably funnier if you use turkey in the telling). But their kids love this chicken. In fact, the love this chicken more than the family dog. The kids feed it, play with it, dress it up, let it sleep in their bed. So, when Thanksgiving rolls around, they eat the family dog.
